Created during an era when grand hotels, resorts and destinations promoted themselves through beautifully illustrated labels, these small pieces of graphic history traveled the world affixed to suitcases and trunks. Local Intrigue reproduces them from high-resolution scans in all of their analog glory: preserving their distinctive typography, illustration, color and character, highlighting every exquisite detail of the printing processes of the era writ large; such as offset lithography, silkscreen and stochastic dot.
